Physiotherapy Team

Our Physiotherapy Team has 30 years of combined experience that allows us to bring this knowledge base to our patients for the best possible care. Our Physiotherapists are graduates of Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy and are licensed under the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. They are members of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

As licensed physiotherapists in Nova Scotia we take ongoing post graduated continuing education courses. The Physiotherapists at SMB Physiotherapy are committed to taking post graduated education so that we can provide quality treatment and aid in your recovery. Some of the courses include Manual therapy, Acupuncture, Exercise Testing and Prescription, Kinesio Taping, Muscle imbalances syndromes and treatment and Sport specific courses including running and cycling.

All assessments and treatments are provided by our Physiotherapists in a professional and caring environment.

Jennifer Quigg

Jennifer is owner of St. Margaret's Bay Physiotherapy and one of our physiotherapist that has over 30 years of experience. Graduating from Dalhousie in 1993 with her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, she has been a reliable therapist at the clinic. Having grown up in Nova Scotia she has built her practice in a wonderful community of Tantallon, NS. Jennifer has been avid on keeping up with her education, taking many post graduate courses including; manual therapy, muscle imbalance syndrome, kinesio taping with special interest in treating vestibular therapy (vertigo), TMJ dysfunction (lock jaw) and concussions.


Wanda Burchell

Wanda has been a part of the team for the past 20 years, graduating from Dalhousie with her degree in 2002. Growing up in Cape Breton she has settled in the nearby area she strives to give the best treatment to her clients by completing many post graduate courses including: Acupuncture, manual therapy, muscle imbalance syndrome just to name a few. She has a fondness to getting clients active, improving their mobility after surgery and other impingements they may have.


Arielle Sevigny

Arielle joined the St. Margaret's Bay Physiotherapy team in January 2023 after graduating from Dalhousie University with her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2022. Being from Hammonds Plains she has a real connection with the community, and understanding the needs of our clients. Arielle has an undergrad in Kinesiology and a certificate in disability management, which allows her to give the best treatment with her extended knowledge/education, to aid in movement/injury management and client recovery.
